A comprehensive course that involves sketching in the collections and on the grounds of the Museum. Over six weeks, students will develop an understanding of the basic concepts and techniques of drawing, while gaining intimacy with the Museum’s fine collections. Also in this course, students will spend time with images and objects from the Álvaro Siza: Gateway to the Alhambra exhibition. Materials list provided upon registration.
Kelley Aitken was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, and graduated from the University of Guelph with a degree in Fine Arts. Kelley's teaching focus and specialty is drawing and mixed media. In addition to her teaching and artwork, Kelley is also a published author.
